Application Requirements

To be considered for acceptance to the Dental Hygiene program, you must:

1. Complete the series of pre-Dental Hygiene courses below, with a minimum grade point average of 2.5, at the university or community college of your choice prior to beginning the ODS 18-month program.
   
   
   • Anatomy and Physiology
   • College Algebra
   • Elementary Chemistry/Lab
   • English Composition
   • Introduction to Dental Hygiene
   • Microbiology
   • Speech

Important: Students are advised to consult with Dental Hygiene faculty prior to undertaking the pre-Dental Hygiene year to be certain all course requirements are being met.

2. Submit a Dental Hygiene Program Application for Admission.

Tuition and Fees

For tuition for the Associates of Applied Science, contact admissions. Tuition does not include a student kit (approx. $2000) or books.

Tuition for the Bachelor's Degree Completion Program is available from Oregon Institute of Technology.

Financial aid is available. Financial Aid applications must be submitted to OIT by February 1.
